RANGE WRESTLING ACADEMY TRAINING FACILITY

A Permanent Home for Training, Development, and Community

Range Wrestling Academy owns and is actively renovating a dedicated training facility designed to support long-term athletic development for youth, competitive athletes, and community partners.

This space is being built intentionally — not just as a wrestling room, but as a comprehensive performance and learning environment that will serve a wide range of athletes and training needs.

Facility Overview

Our facility is designed to provide:

  • Dedicated wrestling mat space

  • Strength and conditioning areas

  • Technical learning and film study rooms

  • Space for law enforcement and professional training

  • A clean, professional environment built for consistency and safety

Each component of the facility supports physical development, mental growth, and accountability.

Wrestling & Mat Training Space

The heart of the facility is a dedicated mat area designed for:

  • Youth and developmental wrestling

  • Competitive training and live wrestling

  • Situational drilling and clinics

  • Law enforcement grappling and defensive tactics

This space allows for consistent, high-quality training without reliance on shared or temporary locations.

Strength & Conditioning Area

Cybex Equipment & Weight Training

The facility includes commercial-grade Cybex strength equipment, providing athletes access to structured strength and conditioning resources.

This area supports:

  • Age-appropriate strength development

  • Injury prevention and movement quality

  • Athletic performance enhancement

  • Supervised training for youth and advanced athletes

In addition to Cybex machines, the facility includes a dedicated weightlifting area designed for:

  • Foundational barbell movements

  • Strength development for wrestling and other sports

  • Multi-sport athletic training

All strength training is approached with safety, supervision, and proper progression as top priorities.

Multimedia & Film Study Room

Learning Beyond the Mat

A dedicated multimedia room is being developed to support:

  • Match film review

  • Technique breakdown and instruction

  • Team meetings and goal setting

  • Classroom-style learning sessions

This space allows athletes to improve decision-making, awareness, and technical understanding, reinforcing that success comes from preparation — not just physical ability.

Law Enforcement & Professional Training Use

The facility also supports local law enforcement training, offering a controlled environment for:

  • Grappling and control techniques

  • Defensive tactics training

  • Physical readiness and conditioning

This partnership strengthens community ties and expands the facility’s role as a professional-grade training space.

Renovation Progress

The building is owned by Range Wrestling Academy and renovations are being completed in phases to ensure quality, safety, and long-term usability.

Current focus areas include:

  • Dedicated mat installation and layout

  • Strength training area setup

  • Lighting, flooring, and safety improvements

  • Preparation of multimedia and meeting spaces

Improvements are ongoing as resources and partnerships allow.

Future Facility Uses

Expanding Opportunity Across the Community

As renovations continue, the facility is designed to support a wider range of athletes and activities, including:

  • Strength and conditioning for other sports (football, hockey, basketball, baseball)

  • Off-season training programs

  • Clinics and camps

  • Athlete development for adults and recreational athletes

  • Community education and training events

The long-term vision is a multi-use athletic development center that benefits the entire community.

Built for Growth

This facility represents more than a building — it represents stability, opportunity, and long-term investment in athletes and community development.

By owning and renovating our space, Range Wrestling Academy is creating a foundation that allows training, education, and performance to grow together.
